In addition to this, the compensation team conducts an in-depth market study using different measuring tools and engaging professional independent agencies to collect and analyze data within the industry to arrive at competitive compensation benchmarking. Based on these inputs, viz., individual performance of the employees (performance & potential ratings), the company’s ability to sustain the cost, and the results of the benchmarking study, the annual raise is decided for every employee. All such revisions are communicated through individual letters addressed to the employees.
