How are Immigrants housed in private housing by Housing Associations recorded in this latest report?

This report, like much Government sponsored propaganda get the right answer by asking the wrong question. The report says there is no evidence that immigrants are getting priority over uk citizens for housing. But that is not the point. If these immigrants were not here, the social housing they occupy would be available to indigenous inhabitants. There is also the argument abouts “points” for housing. The so called “waiting list” is not really that; its not like a bus queue where if you wait long enough you get to the top. It is a list of people arranged in points order, so if someone moves into your area with greater need thus more points, they go ahead of you in the list. AS many immigrant families have large numbers of children, they normally attract more points and thus get priority over families with smaller families.
