How are homeroom parents selected, what do they do?
Homeroom parents volunteer their services in the spring when the request for volunteers is distributed. There are two homeroom parents per class, one serving as the lead from the prior years experience. The homeroom parents serve the homeroom teacher by providing at the teachers request coordination of student activities such as class parties, field trips, volunteering in the classroom, and other activities as requested.
