There are seven holidays recognized by Vanderbilt (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day). Since we are a hospital, not all staff can be off on the given holiday. When required to work, the staff member can take the holiday off on another date.
