How are Habitat homeowners selected?
Habitat selects families all over the world based on the same three criteria: 1 Need for adequate housing 2 Ability to make repayments 3 Willingness to partner with Habitat (through the self-build programme) In the HFHNI partnership programme, selected homeowners are required to complete a specified number of hours on-site, working with volunteers, under the guidance of HFHNI construction staff.
