How are GST refunds calculated? Are there any changes to the administration of refunds under the reporting options?

If you are using one of the GST actuals options (Option 1 or Option 2), refunds are calculated the same as they were on the activity statement. The only difference is now the GST calculation boxes have been removed from the activity statement. If you use the GST instalment option you will receive your refund after we have processed your Annual GST return (PDF, 110KB).
