How are group subscription rates calculated?
A 10% discount is deducted from the “standard” BUPA International Lifeline subscription, taking into account the level of cover chosen, any additional assistance options required, annual deductibles and any discount for annual payment. That is to say, the total premium that would be paid by an individual not participating in the group scheme, less 10%. clubhealthplans has also negotiated special rates for Evacuation or Repatriation assistance cover, which are discounted by between 9% & 11%, depending on age and frequency of payment. Group discounts are in addition to reductions available by choosing an annual ‘deductible’.
