Much of the following information comes from the WAAR Rules of Bowling . Please read and become familiar with these rules on the WAAR web site before the start of the season. Many WAAR Leagues are self-refereed. This means that the League may ask volunteers from each team to referee games. Teams who do not provide referees, may incur penalties as assigned by the League Board of Directors (generally, penalties include team forfeits). Referees may call off any game at any time for safety reasons. All games that are called off due to saftey reasons will be rescheduled if possible. Referees may penalize a player, including game ejection, for un-sportsman like conduct. The League Board of Directors may consider other penalties for players and teams if necessary.
