How are forum moderators selected?
When it is felt that additional moderators are needed due to an increase in the posts in the forums or by any of the current moderators leaving the site or choosing not to moderate, the current moderators will vote to select one from those who’ve applied to serve as one. If you are interested in becoming a moderator, there is now a link at the bottom of the main forum page that will allow you to submit an application. There are no real requirements except to be an active member of the site, a positive influence as evidenced by at least two positive karma arrows, and being on site long enough to be acquainted with all that it has to offer. Those who are moderators have shown a high degree of positive participation in the forums as well as other areas of the site.
