Used as a battery replacement or supplement, the Pentadyne GTX improves UPS reliability and reduces lifecycle cost: • Short-duration ride-through Integrated into a UPS system without a generator, the Pentadyne GTX can provide protection against 99% of all power disturbances (the Electric Power Research Institute–EPRI—reports that only 1% of all outages are longer than 10 seconds). • Ride-through to generator The Pentadyne GTX provides ride-through time to bridge the time gap until the UPS’ standby generator(s) come online for continuous power during long-term grid outages. • Battery life extension/energy storage redundancy In parallel with batteries, the Pentadyne GTX provides battery protection by being the first line of defense against short-duration outages.
