How are flexible endoscope angulation systems repaired?
All materials used for angulation system repairs are fully compatible with the OEM design. IMS verifies angulation cable tensile strength through testing with a calibrated force gauge. Torque testing of the angulation system using proprietary fixtures also ensures that angulation torque of IMS repairs are consistent with measured OEM performance.Single wire replacements and coil pipe shortcut repairs are not performed by IMS. All incoming and outgoing scopes are tested against known angulation standards.
