How are fingerprint checks conducted for persons that are physically unable to leave their homes due to a disability?

0

In situations in which a home bound person is required to be fingerprinted, a staff member from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and a DFPS staff person will set up a time to go to the home bound individual’s home to complete the fingerprinting process. Please contact your Criminal Background Check Unit inspector to request this service. We are aware that transportation problems can make it difficult for fingerprinting to occur, but this process is reserved for only those individuals with disabilities who are unable to leave their homes.
