How are findings of the SIRP made available?
The Stripling Irrigation Research Park staff and scientist make their findings available through many means. County and Statewide Extension meetings are scheduled annually and more often to review crop production, including irrigation management and scheduling findings of the Park. Field tours and field days allow direct observation of current work, and scientists use the opportunities to share what they’ve learned at SIRP. Research is published in various journals by the scientists, and these are part of the education and extension sources of reference materials. Finally, some of the findings will be distributed on these SIRP web pages.
