How are film products different from paste products?
One of the main differences that distinguish a film adhesive from a paste adhesive is its viscosity at room temperature. Because the viscosity of a film is typically several orders of magnitude higher than that of a paste, the film adhesive has to be forced to wet-out the surface of an adherent when applied. Pressure and temperature at some specific time period are used to force a film to wet-out a surface.
