How are featured artists picked?
Featured artists are automatically chosen from our premium artists every two weeks based on the highest average chart position in a genre over last 30 days. An artist can be picked for more than one genre if they have a song with the highest average in those genres. The same artist CANNOT be picked twice for the same genre within the same year. We do however pick some artists ourselves, when they catch our attention and please our ear. As our service grows we will be able to have a more active role in picking who gets featured, but for now its all about how well your songs do in the charts. So our advice to all premium artists is: If you want to be featured, try to get as many people as possible to listen to your songs.
