How are fancy color diamonds graded?
Natural Fancy Colored diamonds are graded based on the following criterion: Hue: yellow, orange, brown, blue, green and red Color hue is the dominant color of the stone Intensity: intense, vivid, etc. Usually, the higher the intensity is – the more rare and more expensive diamond is. Color Tone applies to how much the stone is dark or light, it can be graded from dark to very dark, from light to very light.
