The ACC applies high environmental standards at all of its huts. An environmental screening report has been submitted to Parks Canada, and all environmental sensitivity aspects are being addressed. The ACC’s Energy and Waste Water Management Committee is planning to install a number of innovations for energy and water management. Trails will be constructed early in the building phase to minimize impact to the area.
