How are employees screened before being hired?
Individuals are required to pass a Central Registry Check, a State Police Criminal record check, and a drug test (required) before they can be permanently hired to work with a waiver individual. Personal reference checks and job references are also required. Beginning in March 2002, all potential employees that have resided outside of the state of Arkansas in the five years previous to being hired will need to pass an FBI criminal record check.
