Why can I purchase organic milk that has an expiration date of approximately one month, when other milk on the shelves only last about one to two weeks at the most? Some milk is processed by ultra high temperature (UHT) pasteurization which will give the milk an extended shelf life as opposed to a milk that is pasteurized the regular way.
