How are Easter eggs decorated?
Easter eggs are decorated in Different ways in different cultures. In Greece Crimson eggs are exchanged to honor the blood of Christ. In Austria and Germany green eggs are used on Holy Thursday. Slavic people decorate their eggs in unique patterns of silver and gold. The Ukrainians and Poles beautify eggs with simple colors and designs. They make eggs using a distinct method known as pysanki. Hanacke kraslice are Easter eggs adorned with straw. They are made in Czech Republic In Germany the eggs are not broken. Instead they remove contents by making a hole at the end of each egg using a needle and the contents are blown out. Then these hollow eggs were colored and suspended from trees and shrubs during the week of Easter. The Armenians decorate hollow eggs with the pictures of various religious designs.
