How are DEFAULT users entered in a DBM file?
When the DBM file is built, the first DEFAULT entry in the input file is entered as DEFAULT, the second as DEFAULT1, the third as DEFAULT2 etc. This guarantees the uniqueness and ordering of DEFAULT entries. When AuthBy DBM fails to match a user name it will then try to match DEFAULT, then DEFAULT1, DEFAULT2 etc. Something similar happens with AuthBy FILE. 14.
