How are courses offered through UWW?
The UWW program enables a student to learn in several different ways, such as courses at a local institution, independent study with Skidmore faculty or other qualified individuals, correspondence courses offered by major universities, on-line courses, and supervised internships. Each semester local students can also take advantage of evening seminars in the liberal arts, specifically designed for UWW enrollees and offered on the Skidmore campus. What fields can I pursue as a UWW student? All UWW students develop programs in individualized studies, within which they can focus their study in most traditional academic fields, in some pre-professional areas such as business and human services, and in creative interdisciplinary areas.
