How are councils organized?
Each council is a little different, and subject to change depending on what actually occurs during gameplay. But theoretically, each council works like this: There is a Council Elder for each council (elder depicts only status, not necessarily age). Then come the advisors, and finally council members. The Council Elder is not a ruler, but his/her function is to preside over voting and discussions, as well as organize and oversee activities. Since councils are run democratically, each member has a vote, and each of those votes are equal to any other, including those of higher ranking members. For more specific info, the councils are described below: Merchant Council – Lead by the Merchant Supervisor, this council is the backbone of the monetary aspect of Black Sun. Individuals retain much of the profit that they make, while at the same time, everyone collectively finances the guild. Everyone is happy.
