Distance Learning: Currently 14 credit courses are offered by distance learning methods, usually including a course information booklet, course manual, readings package and online discussion using computer conferencing. Some courses are entirely online with websites for content, instructions, assignments and links to readings and resources, with computer conferencing for collaborative work and discussion. Distance courses are scheduled in the fall and spring terms. Face-to-face: Classes are located in Victoria or onsite elsewhere in the province of B.C. These courses may be offered on a regular basis or as unique one-time offerings. Mixed Mode: Courses in mixed mode have a face-to-face component (usually on-campus in the summer) followed by distance learning.
