How are Club policy statements developed?
The Club uses several ways to implement the directives of the Club’s constitution and bylaws. One of these methods is job descriptions for staff positions and key volunteer positions. Another way is through the use of policy statements approved by the Club’s Board of Directors. These policy statements are intended to guide certain activities on a continuing basis rather than dealing with specific, similar, situations. Policy statements have been enacted by the Board in a variety of areas.
