How are clicks and sales assigned to each affiliate?
Each affiliate is given a unique affiliate ID. This ID is used in all banners that the affiliate puts in his website. This ID is picked up by our software and is used to track the click and subsequent sales. This is done automatically provided the affiliates follow our simple instructions when placing their banners. When a person clicks on an affiliate’s banner our software sets a “cookie” in that person’s computer. This cookie is a special file in the user’s browser and allows us to link that person to that particular affiliate for future visits to your site.
