How are class locations chosen for delivery of DFS courses?
Class locations are based on several considerations. The first it the number of deliveries. If a course is only to be delivered once or twice it is generally given in the central part of the state to equalize travel for the attendees. If the course is to be given multiple times then they are delivered in various areas of the state. Individual sites are chosen based on classroom/auditorium size, access to the facility, specialized needs for certain classes, prior experience with the ability to fill a course at a given location and facility restrictions. Classes that are set up with large enrollments can only be delivered in facilities with large auditoriums.
