How are chickens different than each other even those that look alike?

All chickens may look alike, especially when they’re babies, but when they grow older, you might notice some unique aspects that are different from others. The easiest way to tell a chicken apart from another is to mark them with a tag or sharpie. The next (which is what I use) is to note their personality. Like us, chickens have different personalities. I have four white chickens. One of them is very timid and quite afraid of people. Another is more friendly with people and is a little larger. The next acts as the lead hen and might face me if she thinks I’m a predator. My rooster, easiest of all, WILL attack me and has different feathers than the others. Of cousre, this might not work if you’re a large-scale chicken owner. With 12 chickens, I can remember their names and tell them apart.
