How are cars allocated between LOGS shipments and non-LOGS shipments?
The number of cars being offered is based on historical shipments calculated for each shipping region (stated above). Current marketing and car velocity information will then be considered to make a final determination of the number of cars to be offered. Cars offered and not sold in the LOGS program will be returned to non-LOGS general service.
