How are Cape Cod Fire Logs different from other compressed-wood fuels?
Unlike many other convenience firelogs, Cape Cod Fire Logs contain no waxes, oils, glues, or paraffin or petroleum materials of any kind, which means you can use them the same way you’d use cordwood, but without the smoke and emissions. Compared with other manufactured firelogs, our logs provide a more natural fire experience: When burned, they emit no odor (except the smell of a natural wood fire) and very little smoke, produce fewer greenhouse gases and particulate emissions, and generate very little ash residue. In addition, their unique shape provides a more controlled burning experience.
