How are calls routed?

0

To ensure that all users experience the ultimate VoIP calling experience, all calls are routed from the West coast to the East Coast of North America (more than 2,500 miles) across a public carrier’s IP network. Lucent MultiVoice gateways, and the Lucent gatekeeper, the MultiVoice Access Manager (MVAM), are used with the Lucent Access Point 1000™ IP router and a provisioning/billing system from Mind CTI, Ltd., a MultiVoice Alliance Program partner. All calls are compressed to approximately 8 kbps, using the industry standard ITU-T G.
