How are business licence fees determined?
PPCA’s business licence fees are assessed under a system of tariffs. In most cases, the level of fees relate directly to the extent to which sound recordings are played by the licensee and the size (or potential size) of the audience. For music videos, the level of fees relate directly to the number of areas, and the number and size of the screens on which music video clips are displayed by the licensee together with and the size (or potential size) of the audience.
