How are brain waves connected to subliminal perception programs?
Brainwave stimulating subliminal perception programs or exercises use the brain waves or brain state to enhance effectiveness. If you are in beta state, subliminal perception does occur, but there is a lot of activity going on in your mind, so subliminal suggestions can get lost in all the confusion. In beta state, the brain is very busy managing many different tasks, and the unconscious mind is actively engaged with the conscious mind. The mind can only process so much information at a time. If you are in alpha or theta state, the subliminal messages get through to the unconscious mind with little or no interference from the conscious mind. Sensory perception occurs but the conscious mind doesn’t process the information, it has basically “stepped aside” or is “on hold”. This creates a more direct pathway to the unconscious mind which accepts the subliminal messages contained within the perception. Stimulating theta and alpha brain waves increases subliminal message effectiveness.
