How are binaural beats made?
The human brain has five different types of waves which all are associated with different mind states. If the difference between the two audio waves is less than 40 hertz it will entrain the brain to ease into one of these five synchronized states. For example: If you have two audio waves, one at 340 hertz and one at 344 hertz, the difference between the waves is 4 hertz. When the brain synchronizes the information between the two pieces of information it will slip into a Delta wave state which oscillates at a frequency of 4 hertz.
