How are Bees controlled?

0

Honey bees are not protected as a species but they should not be killed without a justifiable reason. Where swarms escape the first course of action should be to contact a beekeeper and ask if the swarm can be collected. If bees form colonies inside chimneys or wall voids and their presence is likely to cause harm an insecticide can be applied. However if the colony has produced honey prior to the treatment every effort needs to be made to seal the void to prevent bees from other colonies taking the honey and transporting the insecticide back to their own colonies.
