How Are Baby Chicks Born?

0

The daddy bird puts some seeds in the mummy bird, and then then mummy bird puts these seeds in eggs she makes inside her. She puts in lots of food, and then seals in in a nice hard shell to keep the little seeds safe. She makes a comfy nest in a safe place and lays the eggs into the nest. She sits on them day and night to keep them warm and safe while inside the eggs the seeds start to grow, and they turn into chicks. They use the food their mummy put inside egg to grow bigger and bigger, until they’re almost too big for the egg, and then they use their little beaks to peck at the inside of the eggshell and break it open.
