How are averages calculated in Reports?
The following fields are calculated via arithmetic mean ignoring any activities where the value being reported is null: Avg Distance Avg Time Avg Elevation Gain Avg Elevation Loss The following fields are calculated via weighted mean based on time ignoring any activities where the value being reported is null: Avg Speed Avg HR Avg Run Cadence Avg Bike Cadence Avg Power For example, a longer activity based on time will have greater influence on the above values than one shorter in time.
