How are artificial teeth (e.g. plastic and porcelain) affected by the whitener?
Artificial teeth will not be damaged by the whitener, although they will not be whitened in the same way as your other teeth. It is likely that your artificial teeth have also become discoloured over time. This will be bleached away, but they will never be whiter than they were to start with. Our previous customers that have had artificial teeth and have whitened their teeth have found that even if they have only whitened a few shades the overall effect has been very good. How good the result will be depends on the colour of the artificial material when they were fitted.
