How are appointments scheduled?

A great effort has been made to keep our patients in school as much as possible. Some orthodontic procedures (such as placing of braces or repairs) require morning appointments.

All appointments are scheduled by calling (925) 937-8346. No referrals are needed for our initial, low cost consultation. For driving directions or a map click on our Scheduling and Directions link.

Appointments may be scheduled electronically by the patient, through an 800 number and/or by calling the clinic directly (if allowed by employer). If employer would like employees to have the opportunity to call the clinic to make appointments directly, additional clerical staff will be necessary.

Routine well child appointments are scheduled 1-2 months in advance and are especially in high demand in the spring and summer months. Please plan accordingly if a physical is needed for school, camp or sports participation. Usually we are able to schedule a child for a same-day appointment when they are sick. Please make every effort to be on time for appointments; we will also try to see you for your appointment promptly. We may need to reschedule an appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late.

We offer convenient scheduling by telephone or FAX. Many times, your examination can be performed on the same day that we receive a request from your doctor. If our schedule is completely filled, our usual waiting time is no more that two to three days.
