How are “Announcements” different from the “Message Board”?
In numerous areas, such as Clubs, Classes, and even in the campus-wide General First-level Tab, there is an Announcements feature as well as a Message Board. Generally, the Announcements feature is where announcements are posted. Posting privileges are usually restricted to Campus Cruiser members with administrative privileges, and replies to posted announcements are not permitted. However, the Message Board feature generally allows all members to have posting privileges. Other members may also respond to posts on the board, creating written discussions, or “threads.
