How are aluminium beverage can recycled?
most cans in the uk are made out of steel coated with tin i know this as most of my family worked for metal box and one of the things that were taught on the induction period was what the cans were made from and that meant all cans eg beer pop food and pet food but some cans indeed are made from aluminium but not many as the cost is a bit prohibitive and the cost of what is inside would have to bear this and then it would simply cost more and as such to compete against rival company’s would not make it cost effective and as far as recycling they are simply shredded and put into a furnace and made into ingots as would any other metal irrespective as to what is
