How are all of the people going to get to and from Daybreak?
Kennecott Land works closely with the Utah Department of Transportation, as well as county and city governments, to look at the big picture in developing a comprehensive road and transportation plan. The proposed Mountain View Corridor will create a new highway on Salt Lake Valley’s West Bench, stretching from below Point of the Mountain to I-80 west of the airport. The TRAX Mid-Jordan Extension will bring light rail to Daybreak in 2011, running adjacent to the Old Bingham Highway into Murray. Widening of 10400 South is already underway and the extension of 11400 South to I-15 will also start soon. Both roads are expected to be complete by 2010.
