How are All-Around points earned?
A Cowboy or Cowgirl will receive All-Around points by competing in two or more events per rodeo. The contestant does not have to receive points in all events entered, but those points earned in any event will be compiled to their All-Around points. All-Around Points Earned Example 1: A Cowgirl receives All-Around points by competing in Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. Example 2: A Cowboy receives All-Around points by competing in Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding and Bull Riding. All-Around Points Not Earned Example 3: A Cowgirl only enters in Breakaway roping. Example 4: A Cowboy calls-in to compete in Tie-down Calf Roping and Team Roping. At the rodeo his Team Roping partner does not show up. He only competes in Tie-down Calf Roping and Draws-Out or is Called-Out in Team Roping.
