The ALAA is a non-profit association. Finances are spent for the Dog Registrar (a non-breeder employee of the ALAA), upgrades and maintenance to the ALAA database (DogTrackTM and StudFinderTM), the yearly ALAA breeder Roundtable, as well as minor overhead. All of the ALAA officers are volunteers.
