How are Affiliate referrals tracked?
Affiliate referrals from your web site or emails are tracked using your unique affiliate ID number by the use of cookies. A cookie is a harmless small text file that contains the affiliate ID number and expiration date. This small file is placed on the visitors computer via their browser and stored there until the expiration date (180 days) is reached. When that visitor returns to our web site anytime within 180 days, the cookie is called up and your affiliate ID is noted on our sign up form. Once a sale is made, the referral is put into “pending” status under your affiliate ID and you will be credited for the sale 30 days later.
