How are Advisors assigned to DNP students ?

0

Advisors are matched with students based on student type, as follows: Post-Baccalaureate – Advisors are determined by the specialty that the student is seeking, as we have done for our MN students in the past. Post-Masters – The Associate Dean for Academic Services sends out an e-mail to faculty with bio’s of each student and asks for volunteers, as we have done for PhD students. Post-Masters seeking a Specialty – Advisors are determined by the specialty the student is now seeking. Current Masters Students transferring to DNP – The student’s current advisor remains in place unless otherwise determined by the specialty.
