Farmingdale State College is a selective school, and we are looking for students who are academically motivated, and have succeeded in high school. Decisions are made based upon the quality of your academic program, your grade point average, rank in class and SAT or ACT scores. The committee’s final decisions are made based on the current composition of a class and the choices that best enhance our group of students.
