How are Abe Lincoln and Barack Obama Alike?
There are no comparisons between the two, though there are numerous differences between the two, starting with Obama trying to emulate Lincoln during the train ride to Washington and using Lincoln’s family Bible for the oath of office. Abraham Lincoln, was a man that was honest and truthful in every area of his life, who would have not stood by while the country wasted 150 million dollars on his inauguration, he would have had the money go the needy and purchase food for those people. Lincoln threw a fit when his wife spent either $2,000 or $20,000 to decorate the White House. So there is no way he would have stood for four days of parties and balls, when the American people were suffering.
