How are 6th grade students scheduled for Connections classes?
During the first two weeks of school all 6th grade students have an opportunity to learn about our Band, Orchestra, and Chorus programs. Students are given the opportunity to try out various instruments to determine their interest. If the student (and his/her parents) want to join one of these music programs the a Connections schedule will be created based upon that request. All other students are randomly scheduled for various nine-week Connections classes such as Keyboarding, Art, P.E., and Health.
