How are 5250 FFT help documents (including help labels) handled by DTM for iSeries?

RFT and FFT documents containing help labels can be converted to DTM documents without loss of the help label instruction. However, DTM for iSeries is unable to create a new FFT document with help labels because of technical limitations of OS/400. The help labels of an FFT document are not stored in the document in shared folder, but in an associated hidden OS/400 object. You can verify this : copy an FFT document with help labels to a PC using drag and drop in Network Neighborhood ; rename the document on the PC ; copy the document back to the AS/400 ; the ‘new’ FFT is not a document of type FFT but PCFILE ; this change in type happens because there is no associated hidden object for this document. There is no IBM supported/documented function or to create or manipulate this associated object from within a user application (like DTM for iSeries). Additionally, replacing the OS/400 DSPHLPDOC with a DTM version of this command is technically impossible because OS/400 does not call this
